Not seeing you in weeks tortures me,
There is something missing in my stay,
Your sweet voice is not here to sooth my ear,
Your sparkling eyes are not here to wake me in the morning,

Your sweet charm and wittiness are not here to cheer me up,
Your sense of taste is not here to guide me,
I am in pain for not seeing you,
The only cure for me is your voice,

Because it sings a heavenly song,
That would make my love live long.

My lovely flower,
Why do you need a rose?
The freshness of a rose is in your eye,
The scent of a rose is in your odor,
The tenderness of a rose is on your skin,

A black rose blooms in your hair,
A white rose blooms in your heart,
A red rose blooms on your lips,
A pink rose blooms on your cheeks.

You are more than a rose garden yourself.
A beautiful rose blooms at dawn and at dusk it fades,
Your beauty bloomed at the dawn of your birth
...and never can fade

Birth of a Flower

On this day, a lovely flower blossomed to life,

A flower so beautiful, 
  that the sun peeped from behind the clouds to see her.
A flower so fragrant, 
  that the breeze kept carrying its scent.
A flower so soft 
  that the air kept rubbing itself against the flower's petals.
A flower so enchanting 
  it brushed my heart with love as my eyes caught it.

I wanted to pluck it, 
but it would be with me for only a day.
So, I gave it a place in my heart, 
so it would be with me for eternity.

There is no scale in the world that can measure your beauty.
You’re the creators perfect creation.
The god’s would be mesmerized in seeing the beauty of you, 
They would gaze at you- forgetting time 
Which made the goddess jealous of you.

Heavenly maidens, angels, were astonished to see the you.
Every being in this universe would spring to life 
If your beauty were realized by them.
Even cupid would start shooting arrows at himself.
If all the beautiful things were bound together to match you, 
It would not be even close to you.

I may not be the first one to see the beauty 
And tell the beauty of you.

But, I yearn to live a life appreciating the beauty in you.
